Behind the scenes, BTS has seen more staff movement this year than we usually do. When you’ve got a team with an average tenure north of a decade, even small changes feel like big shifts.
We’ve welcomed:
- A new Service Manager bringing energy and focus
- New technicians to support both onsite and remote work
- New accounting team members and refined processes to keep us sharp
Transitions like these are part of growth. But make no mistake, our expectations haven’t changed. We still believe in solving problems quickly, showing up when you need us, and standing behind what we do.

Surveillance & Cabling — We're Back and Fully Licensed
We’ve always done solid infrastructure work, but lately there’s been a serious uptick in calls around CCTV and surveillance systems. Some of you are upgrading old analog systems. Others are adding cameras for compliance, insurance, or just plain peace of mind. We get it.
So, we renewed our credentials with the Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure (AESBL# 1923) and are back in full swing providing:
- Full site evaluations
- Design and layout planning
- Installation and configuration
- Storage optimization and retention setup
- Upgrades to AI-capable IP-based systems
We don’t just toss cameras on a wall. We walk the space. We ask how your business operates. We factor in light conditions, cabling runs, angle of view, and blind spots. We assess what matters to you, not just what’s printed on a spec sheet.
And because we’re also a licensed low-voltage cabling contractor, we can handle:
- New office builds and remodels

Cybersecurity: No-Cost Network Assessments Through October 31
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and while that doesn’t exactly come with balloons and cake, it is a reminder that many businesses are flying blind when it comes to risk.
Ask yourself:
- Do you know how many devices are active in your network?
- Are old employee accounts still active?
- Have your backups been tested lately?
- Are your firewalls still up to date and logging what they should?
