Microsoft® Hosted Exchange

Microsoft logo

Microsoft's Exchange platform continues to be the platform of choice for enterprise customers seeking a collaborative email solution for their company. High costs of licenses, servers, labor, and the risk associated with in-house hosting makes owning an Exchange Server prohibitive to many organizations.

As the growth web-hosted models experiences increasing adoption into the IT Marketplace, Microsoft provided an online solution for their Partners, such as BTS, to provide Exchange in a manner accessible online. Therefore BTS Technologies is glad to provide Hosted Exchange and its benefits, which include:

  • Outlook 2007 for every user. No need to buy Microsoft Office just for email. If you already have it, great. Got an older version? You just upgraded.
  • Feature filled Outlook Web Access. Exchange features while you are out of the office.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliant, centralized mail storage. Save money on offsite storage and conveniently retrieve archived emails for dispute resolution and inter-company security.
  • Anti-Virus and SPAM filtering included. Most hosted solutions often charge extra to provide the protection required for any business email solution.
  • Support For Microsoft ActiveSync for mobile devices (i.e. Windows Mobile Devices and iPhone)
  • Optional support for Blackberries via Blackberry Enterprise Server
  • Low "TCO" compared to in house solution

Data Recovery Plan — Not just back-up!

Did you know that 80% of companies that lose their data go out of business within one year? Why? Not just because all of them did not save their data. Many do. Rather, they did not have a plan on how to implement that data and restart their business. Think about it. Your vendors and employees know how much you owe them. How do you know who owes you? If you cannot restart you're A/R and A/P process before the end of the month, how long before employees leave and vendors stop their services?

Servers

Imagine your business is gone and but acquire a new facility. You and your employees gather around in a circle and stare at the tape or thumb drive that contains your data. How does that get your business started? Is there another server with the exact tape drive for sale where you can find it? If so, how do you rebuild the mission critical components of the network?

More commonly, if just the server dies, how much money will you lose while a new server is configured? How long will that take and what are the better options?

Allow BTS Technologies to devise a Disaster Recovery Plan can help you avert a true disaster. -Microsoft
