Time Change Instructions

The instructions for changing the time on your particular phone system  are listed below.  Click on the system name to see the instructions.  

If you are not sure about your system model or your system is not listed either email us  at service@askbts.com or call  the BTS Service Department at 205-290-8301 and the BTS help desk will assist you with determining your system or assisting you remotely with your time change (service fees may apply).

NEC IPK II

Note:  Change the clock from the attendant's station -- usually extension 10, 100, or the first extension in the extension number range (i.e., 200 for 200 to 299 range , etc.) -- with handset resting on the cradle and the phone not in use.

  • Press  SPEAKER button

  • Dial 728

  • Dial two digits for the hour (24 hour clock, 13 = 1:00 PM)

  • Dial two digits for the minutes (00 thru 59)

  • Press SPEAKER to exit

Press  FEATURE button
Dial 9 #
Enter the hour and minute by using the dial pad
Press RECALL button to change AM / PM setting
Press HOLD button to change to calendar settings
                                    or
             Press Feature button to exit

Press RECALL to select day of week
Press # to move the cursor to day of month field
Enter day of month by using dial pad
Press RECALL button to select month
Press # to move the cursor to the year field
Enter last two digits of  year by using dial pad.
Press FEATURE to exit

Dial 9 #
Enter the hour and minute by using the dial pad

Dial  * # 0  * 0 1
Dial two digits (01 - 12) for month
Dial two digits (01 - 31) for day
Dial two digits (00 - 99) for year
Dial two digits (00 - 23) for hour
Example: 8:15 PM = 2015 (enter 2 0 for hours)
Dial two digits (00 - 59) for minutes
Example: 8:15 PM = 2015 (enter 1 5 for minutes)
Dial  #  to save
Press SPEAKER to end

Dial  * # 0 1
Dial two digits (00 - 99) for year
Dial two digits (01 - 12) for month
Dial two digits (01 - 31) for day
Dial two digits (00 - 23) for hour
Dial two digits (00 - 59) for minutes
Press SPEAKER to end

Note: [back], [next], [show], [chg], [bksp], and [save] refer to the three buttons below the LCD display.

Enter Database Administration by pressing the FEATURE,  #,  *  buttons

Dial   ########       
(admin password)

 Press [show]

 Dial    0814

 Press  [save]

 System Time will be displayed on LCD screen

 Press [show]

 Press [next] until hour is displayed

Press [chg]

Dial 2 digits for hour based on 24-hour clock

 Press [save]

If you are done lift and replace handset to reset phone, or press [chg] to set minutes

Dial 2 digits for minutes

Press [save]

 Lift and replace handset
